Description

WHAT IS MIXOIL?
COMPOSITION :
Mixoil Is A Highly Concentrated Mix Of Essential Oils Of Plants With Wellknown
Pharmaceutical Effect.
Mixoil Is A Perfectly Formulated Mix Of Many Types Of Oils Like, Thymol, Eucalyptol,
Oregano, Garlic And Many Others
MIXOIL POWDER
Concept of using essential oils in poultry feed:
Essential oils extracted from plants of well-known therapeutic effect is increasingly
used in animal feed for improving the performance and utilization of nutrients in
feed ingredients.
Mixoil powder the unique formulation of essential oils which is perfectly
designed to be used in poultry and animal nutrition has the following features:
1. Scientifically based formula with strictly balanced essential oils that will result in
synergistic action.
2. Produced by microencapsulation technology which keeps the ingredients as
fresh as the manufacture date with 100% potency keeping.
3. Highly concentrated for low inclusion rate in the feed
4. Strong pharmacological effect.
5. High cost-effectiveness and excellent return of investment.
6. No use restrictions or special requirements.
7. High safety profile and no risk of overdosing

How to use?

MIXOIL POWDER INDICATIONS OF USE:
1. Mixoil powder could be used in animal feed in order to save total energy in
feed formulation, with its proven energy saving up to 6%.
2. Strong anticoccidial effect
3. Mixoil powder is considered a perfect natural growth promotor
4. Also due to its bactericidal effect mixoil powder will also replace the products
that is used to control intestinal health and integrity, it will control clostridia and
salmonella.
5. Mixoil powder will maximize the utilization of nutrients from feed ingredients
like amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
6. Mixoil powder use will decrease the dripping by 40% causing also less ammonia production and more dry bedding which also will decrease the respiratory problems.
7. Mixoil powder use will result in better carcass and better meat quality with
higher content of vitamins and amino acids.
8. Better FCR and better bodyweight gain

WORK MECHANISMS OF MIXOIL

-ANTIMICROBIAL EFFECT:
mixoil have strong antimicrobial effect results from its lipophilic properties it can
either alter microbial membrane permeability, or interact with membrane proteins
whilst others can interact directly with cytoplasmic components. Mixoil components can accumulate in the lipid bilayer of the bacterial plasma membrane where
they disrupt the ion gradient, thereby reducing bacterial growth or causing cell
death.
-IMPROVING PERFORMANCE:
Mixoil powder components enhance production of digestive secretions, stimulate
blood circulation, and exert antioxidant properties.
-ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY:
The antioxidant mechanisms of mixoil components are based on both their ability
to donate a hydrogen or an electron to free radicals, and their ability to delocalize
the unpaired electron within the aromatic structure, thus protecting other biological molecules against oxidation. Phenolic components of mixoil are found to be
more potent antioxidants as compare to vitamins E and C, and carotenoids. Mixoil
components including carvacrol, cinnamaldehyde show antioxidant potential by
improving the hepatic concentration of carotenoids and coenzyme Q10 when fed
to broiler chickens
-ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY:
mixoil powder contain phenolic compounds that are known to possess strong antiinflammatory properties. The major components having anti-inflammatory abilities
are the terpenoids and flavonoids. These substances suppress the metabolism of
inflammatory prostaglandins.
-IMMUNOMODULATORY ACTIVITY:
The immunomoduling potential of mixoil, for example, those from garlic and
oregano has been examined by several researchers. Szigeti et al. (1998) stated that
the incorporation of a modified product containing garlic in chicken diets increased
antibody production against Salmonella enteritidis, Pasteurella multocida and
Leptospira Pomona. Hanieh et al. (2010) suggested that the immunomodulatory
effect of garlic could be the result of its ability to enhance the production of interleukins, tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interferon (INF-γ). Also, garlic can increase
phagocytosis of peritoneal macrophages, secretary metabolism of macrophages,
antioxidant function, and antigen presenting cells (APC). Rahimi et al. (2011) stated
the inclusion of garlic in broiler diets at 0.1% improved antibody response against
Newcastle disease virus, increased weight of spleen and bursa of Fabricious, and
augmented hypersensitivity cutaneous basophilic response.mixoil use usually will
result in one log extra antibody production stated by kaliefah et al .2014
-STIMULATION OF DIGESTION:
Mixoil favourably affect gut functions by stimulating digestive secretions e.g. bile
and mucus, and enhanced enzyme activity (Platel, 2004; Manzanilla et al., 2004). In
broilers, mixoil enhance the secretion of trypsin, amylase and jejunal chyme (Jang
et al., 2007), and reduce the adherence of pathogens (for example, E. coli and Cl. perfringens) with intestinal wall (Jamroz et al., 2006).
-ANTIPARASITIC ACTIVITY:
Mixoil have been reported to have antiparasitic properties. For example, mixoil components like garlic (Allium sativum), onion (Allium cepa) and mint (Mentha spp.) are
found to be effective against gastrointestinal parasitism. The birds infected once
with coccidia, grow slower than non-infected ones even after intaking similar feed.
